Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

Reply:I've been doing paid surveys as kind of a hobby for years, but there is no way you'll be able to make a living at it. At the most, you'll get $5 for each survey and it may be weeks between surveys. The sites I mainly use are Pinecone, NFO, and American Consumer. Maybe you can sell things on eBay or become a Mystery Shopper.

Reply:Well, you can make money off of surveys, but because there are only so many surveys out there which you will qualify for, it's not enough to quit your job and stay at home. I usually make about $20 a month taking surveys--I could probably make maybe $50 if I had internet explorer (some surveys don't work with my browser--Mozilla). I also make $20-30 referring others to programs which have referral or affiliate programs. That's not bad as a supplement to my husband's income--since its something I can do at home--but it wouldn't support me if that was the only way I was supporting myself.

There is a paid survey every few days that you have to qualify for. They pay anything from $1 to $15. When you accumulate over $5 they send a check. I have received $23 so far. That is for about 3 months so you won't get rich. There are surveys daily but most just give you entries into a drawing.

It emails you to invite you to take surveys and you may may get one invite, say, weekly or fortnightly, so it's really not a money-making venture. The way that it works is that they automatically send you a cheque once you've racked up £50 in your account.

However, as you're Irish, I can't confirm that you'd be eligible - it might be for UK citizens only. Visit the site yourself and read the small print! I think it's yougov.co.uk but just google it and you'll find it.

Reply:i've been a member of both of those sites for a while now and i can say that they are legit and you don't have to pay anything to sign up. all you do is take surveys and/or sign up for free trials. it's really easy and i just do it when i'm sitting at home being bored (i'm taking surveys about a total of 1-2 hours a day on average) and i make about $80 a month from each of those sites...sometimes a little more, depending on how much time i spend on it...so i make almost $200 extra dollars a month. theres people that make more, like i said, it just depends on how much time you spend on there. good luck!

You will not get rich going paid surveys but they are an excellent way to make a few hundred dollars over the course of a year.

First of all, you should just be aware that the sites that promise to pay you lots of money to take surveys or get paid for your opinion are full of it and probably scams. Taking surveys for cash does not make you enough to quite your job. But it does make a decent side income and its fun too. As long as you do the legitimate ones. I wrote several articles all about this paid survey money making technique, you might want to at least skim over them. One article gives direct links to survey sites that have paid me numerous times, the others explain in detail how to make as much money as possible when doing the surveys. Be sure to read these before you actually try and sign up because I provide some helpful hints that you must put into place during the registration process. Good luck.

Please do not answer saying survey sites do not pay, because I am with several survey sites that DO pay. I have received many checks and gift cards from survey sites I have found online. One of the survey sites I am with is GoZingSurveys and they pay me directly to my PayPal account but this is the only site that I know of that pays directly to a PayPal account. Anyone know of any other survey sites that pay directly to ones' PayPal account?

Your lucky to find a survey site that pays from paypal..the surveys sites that I belong too pay me by check (when I reach minimum requirement) of course the "focus group" that I belong too does offer me the option of paypal,egold or check! I know of TWO paid survey sites that personally pay ME every month.

So I posted the links and yahoo deleted my answer and accused me of violating their TOS. What is this?? They said the reason was "soliticing". What? I didn't ask the question!

Posting of any type of website link, particularly one that 'might' be phishing or spamming types, can result in being reported and violated. Best to avoid those types of questions or see if the person has a link open to email and post links to them that way.

If on the other hand your dealings with customers are face to face or over the phone, then your interface with customer sould be in a similar manner. 1. People take them only if they are offered a reward. That means you only get people who are in need and have time on their hands. Probably not the group you want to reach.

2. People who are in the habit of taking surveys will tailor their answers to match the survey. Why? They only get that reward if they finish the survey so they have to answer the way the survey wants them to. You don't get honest answers.

Surveys are pretty much a waste of time. I suggest you look at how customers are being treated by your employees. If employees are friendly and interested in the customer and treat every one with respect, it will improve your sales. Customer service is what brings people back.

I was just looking at that. Fastfusion.com was alright at first, but only two of the offers worked and I earned like 2 dollars. The rest you have to buy stuff or enter credit card numbers. You spend more than you earn.

Just a warning, some people are just ripping you off to help themselves. I have tried atleast 20 survey sites and there have been about 3 really good ones. The very best one is:

Now this probably makes you think that it is fake because they are giving you this much money, but the cash out is 75$, and after the 27$ worth of surveys, they only give you like 1 every 1-2 weeks worth 5$. However, you can receive $1.25 for each referal you make to get to the 75$, or you can just wait a few months and get it by surveys. all are free to join so there is no risk, at worse scenario you just make your own experiences which is a win in itself..

you can find more in google, just don't sign up with the ones that ask you for money or a credit card.

Don't trust anyone that says they used to PAY to join survey sites for $47 and $97 people get ripped off ONCE then learn the lesson.

Most paid survey sites are a rip off. I don't know how many I had to go through before I found anything decent, but it was A LOT!

I signed up for sites charging anywhere between $37 and $97 for a membership subscription but most of those ended up being scams.

I had a hard time getting my money back for most of them as well. I thought I'd never find any paid survey sites that actually worked!

Eventually, after a lot of searching, I came across a few decent sites that ACTUALLY paid me for surveys!

I complete 4-5 a week and make anywhere from $100-$500 a week just filling out surveys!

I don't know if I'm just in a good demographic or what, but I seem to get A LOT of surveys from the sites I'm on.

It's really fun to fill them out and know that you're actually having an impact on new products and services!

Reply:Survey programs mostly are legit depending on who you deal with. I signed up with the company below. You can make money but you do have to work for it. Surveys take a while to complete, and sometimes you only make $5 for 25 min. survey. I at least average $50 week since signing up last May working about 5-7 hours a week. Not bad I guess.

The trick is to sign up with at least 20-30 companies and use a separate email address solely for survey work. Good luck!

Some sites are scams and keep the money that they are suppose to give you. The ones that do pay out depends on how much effort you put into to get an income. I've listed most of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or received other rewards like gift cards or CD'S) on the following webpage:

I list how they pay you, what I like and dislike about them, whether they have an affiliate or referral program, etc. (And yes, if I say they have an affiliate program, I'm part of it, and make a commission when someone signs up through that link...I like to be up front about that).

As you're searching, here are some tips to avoid scams. Don't sign up for any survey site which asks you to pay to access the surveys. Also watch for language like "get paid for taking surveys AND SIGNING UP FOR OFFERS" if you don't want to have to sign up for stuff with other companies to get paid.

Always carefully read their terms of service and privacy policy. If in their privacy policy they say they only use aggregated info, this is GOOD SIGN they are legit. Aggregated info information that is grouped together so it can't be connected with anyones personal identification like name, e-mail, phone or address. That's what survey sites SHOULD collect. Avoid sites that say they give, rent, or sell any personal information (info that is not aggregated) to third parties (unless you really don't mind getting junk mail, telemarketing calls, and spam).

Also, never sign up for a survey through an unsolicited e-mail--since these might not even be from the site they claim to be, but could be a phishing scheme to get your information and mis-use it.

This site really does work. You just sign up for an account and then you take surveys and you get paid for it. At the end of the month if you made at least $20, they will mail you a check for that money. I have been using this site for a month already and they've sent me a check for $22.70. I even know someone who makes like $600 a month from this site. However, I'm not sure if this site works in Australia. Why don't you check it out?

Reply:I use https://www.surveyspot.com/ . Not all surveys pay but I average about $10 a month. Be careful of the other links listed in these answers. When you see something like www.aaa.com/12345 the number is the referral code. You make money by referring others when they buy something.

There is nothing that will pay large amounts of money fast. With survey spot there can be a delay of a couple of months from the time of the survey until you are paid. Most sites pay you when you sign up for services or refer others to sign up for services. You then have to remember to cancel the service and hope you receive something.
Reply:Ive had sucess at surveysavy and fusioncash. Surveysavy pays $2-5 per survey and pays every 20th of the month if you have only $20. You also make $3 per referral and $5 if they cash out. I havent had any negative experiences with online surveys, but then again I've never paid any upfront fees, so I guess there are some people who paid fees upfront and then got nothing in return.

There are many good online paid survey sites which conduct market research surveys. Many of them give handsome rewards for your participation in online surveys. You have to join each of them individually and you get survey invitations by email. Rewards for surveys vary from $1 to $20 or more. Many pay for each survey you take or give you points which you can redeem for cash at a particular level. Some of them enter you into sweepstakes.

All are free to join. The so called paid surveys which charge money like $35 for you to join are only databases of such free to join companies, which you have to join individually. But only 30 to 40 out of those 500 or so survey sites are really worth joining.

For the sake of losing $7 at worst I urge everyone to try it. I've been doing it for less than a week and have made nearly $1500! Thats not even half of what they claimed I would make, but still, a pretty good return on $7.

Does anyone know of any survey sites where you don't have to pay the site to take their surveys? Or does anyone know of some work at home site that is legit, will work for a college student, and isnt going to ask you to pay them to work for them?

I keep getting all these emails from sites saying make money by taking surveys, etc. Yeah if you pay them first, then there is no telling if you'll ever see that money again. So some kind of free survey site or something that will actually pay for opinions.

Job opportunities in my state are rather dry without four year degrees.

Theres a lot of "free survey" sites out there most of them work on a point system and it takes a ridiculously long time to earn any cash. You could spend 50+ hours taking surveys to earn a lousy $10. Here are a few that I find do actually give you surveys for cash.

Each of thses sites work a little differently. Mindfeild is a product testing site. They haven't ever paid me but I do get quite a few products to test from them. And I get to keep those products.

Myveiw pays $2 per survey. They pay through paypal and regularly. Its the site ive made the most cash from so far.

Greenfield only occasionally pays cash. They will state that the survey pays cash when they send it. Most surveys they send out reward you with a contest entry. They are slow to pay.

Pinecone is a hard one to get signed up with. You have to find a recruiting banner and follow the link to sign up. Its not easy to find one but if you do they pay $5 per survey and they pay regularly and they pay fast.

Be forewarned these bring in a little bit of extra income but they will not earn you a living.

Reply:Yeah...you never want to sign up for anything you get through un-solicited mail. Even if they claim to be from a legit site, they may be someone else pretending to be that site to get your info (a phishing scene).

There are some legitimate sites out there though. Taking survey just earns you some pizza money (I earn about $20 a month) not salaray or "pay your tuition" amounts.

If you are artistic at all, or can think of some funny sayings to put on t-shirts and mugs and stuff, another free business you can do from home is selling your designs at places like www.cafepress.com or www.printfection.com . (You can probably use Adobe photoshop at your college for free--so you have that going for you). It's fairly easy to set up--but if you really want to succeed it takes a lot of work and commitment. It can take 6 months to a year for your first sale (or not...sometimes less...sometimes a design becomes popular and you sell a lot right away--you never know). But I do know people who make a full time living doing that.

Reply:I don't know if this is help full but I would suggest that you contact a few of your local employment agencies. They maybe be able to find you something. I have looked for years and am finding the same type you talk about. I have my own website through IPowerweb for $94.00 a year and paid a one time fee of $34.00 to the Hidden Vault for a list of wholesalers that dropship my merchandise to my customers. I have made money this way but find it hard to advertise. IPowerweb does however submit your site to all the search engines. Good Luck hope you find something soon.

I have only run across one person who said he made decent money doing surveys, but he also said he had to sign up with over 100 companies and some he had to pay.... in answer to your question... most generally YES - they are scams. Can't tell you the number of hours, weeks, months I tried this.

I don't want to hear the copy/paste sales pitches. I want people who've done surveys and actually gotten paid from them to link me to a site.

I know, there are sites I can pay to sign up for that will weed out the fakes, but I can't afford it. Surely someone has paid and can tell me of a couple sites they were told about?

I've never found even one site that really pays. Maybe none of them work? I sure haven't had any luck.

Survey's are not what you think. They require a lot of time, and you won't make what they claim you will. A couple of my friends did a six month test on several different survey sites like Survey Savvy, Harris Poll, Greenfield, Opinion Outpost, Survey Sport, Buzzback, NPD online, Lightspeed Panel, African American, Your2Cents, Project Payday, Inboxdollar, SnapDollars,Send Earnings, Creation, mycoke rewards, E-poll etc. Each did some the same sites and some different sites. Totaling at least 15 - 20 a piece. They're not what people say they are. Yes they are easy to do and you can receive money and prizes, compensating you for your time and effort. So they're not a scam. They're very time consuming though. When you add the time together, It's more time then you think! If you do decide to get into surveying, you better plan on spending 8 to 10 hours a day and make minimum wage. Sometimes you will hit good surveys that will pay you a lot, but what's required to get that is amount, the calculations of the time involved, and what you got paid in these "higher" paying surveys, still only averages out to minimum wage. It's a psychological thing because the time is spread out on these, so it doesn't seem to be as long as it really is. But we did the documentation's and figured the time vs money factor. We found that there was more time with little money to be made.

Here's how the survey's work. You spend approximately 10 to 15 minutes per each site to register and set up a profile to qualify for surveys. (this is non paid). To make anything really work, you need to register for at least 14 different ones, and make sure non are related to each other. Then you'll start receiving emails for surveys. Each survey you have to complete a 15 to 20 minute "pre-qualifying" survey, after you were already told you qualified based on your profile (you don't get paid for this) Then if you do qualify for a survey (which majority of the ones you don't qualify for. so you've wasted this 15 to 20 minutes and sometimes longer of non paid time.) Then if you don't qualify for one, they offer another and you have to do the same thing, and the same thing happens.) You waste approximately 45 minutes to an hour until you finally qualify for a survey. You take a 30 to 45 minute survey and make normally $1 to $3 a survey that they claim takes 15 minutes. Or instead of money, you earn "points" which later on can be exchanged for money or prizes. You have to earn enough points to make $10. That's not including the 15 minute pre qualifying survey, that you had to repeatedly do prior to land this survey. So you've now spent thirty minutes to an hour and made $3 or a few points. And the process between each of the survey sites is the same. So you can pretty much do the math. It averages out to be between $2 to $6 an hour. Sometimes you do come across a survey that will pay you $25 to $75 a survey, BUT there's A LOT more to it then what meets the eye on that as well.

Here's how the larger pay out survey's work. It could be a telephone survey or a Internet survey. You get the pre qualifying part of 10 to 20 minutes then if you qualify for it another 15 to 30 minute survey or a telephone survey about the product your about to try to see if you qualify to try it. Even though you took a 10 to 20 minute "pre qualifying survey" that said you qualify for. When you qualify for it, they send you a product out to try for 7 to 10 days and you do some daily documentation's on it. Depending on what the product is and the documentation's it's usually 5 - 15 minutes each daily documentation. (you got a free product to use around the house, this is a good part of it) after trying the product out you have to complete another survey that takes between 15 to 30 minutes to do. Now you do the calculations on that. You don't get as many of these types of survey's. They use the hype on getting paid $25 to $75 dollars for 15 minute surveys. NOTICE THE PLURAL IN "SURVEYS" What they don't tell you is that there is more then one survey involved in these. Now calculate from your pre-qualifying survey to the next pre-qualifying survey from the company carrying the product, to the trial and documentation's, to the last survey on these products. Then you receive a check four weeks to six weeks later. Do the math, that's less then minimum wage!

Are you wanting to work from home? I'm guessing this is the case for posting this. Unfortunatly online jobs, suveys etc are pretty much a null. If you really want to work online, I suggest you start your own business your best bet is partner up with a company that direct sales a product. One you can do on or off line. That's what we did. You can have the company set up a web site for you to sale the products and services. After you've set it up, you'll have to generate traffic to your site as means of either advertisement (which you'll have to spend a lot of money doing) or the more effective way is word of mouth and referals, which are free and more effective. Partner up with a company that gives you monthly earnings from services that you put people on either by in person, phone or from your web site. Very few real companies are going to hire a stranger to do work for them with no training or supervision. Most people who work from home either work for themselves, or have worked for a company for many years, and then had a personal situation arise that caused them to need to work from home. If they were trusted long-term employees, and if their jobs could be done remotely, the companies made accommodations.

If you want to earn money, you will have to get a real job. You can't earn a living answering surveys (which really just collect info on you!) on the Internet. No company is going to pay good money for that when they can simply provide a survey link on their receipts and get ACTUAL CUSTOMERS to tell them what they thought of their services or products (for free!).

Legitimate companies are not going to pay to ship materials to you, let you fold them stuff them or address them, and then pay for you to ship them back to them. How would that possibly make financial sense?

Do not give anyone your SSN there are lots of sites out there that are legit and they do not need this info from you. Nor do you have to pay to join. I am a member of several. I have done survey savy which has a great referral program if you know people who will join you get money for surveys they complete also. I have also tried American Consumer Opinion. They pay by check in mail for all surveys, but I have not been able to complete many of their surveys. Pinecone is also great. You have to have an invitation to join though. They send one or two surveys a month. They are great though cause you will have a few days or a week to answer the survey if you don't check your email religiously. Then they send a check in the mail pronto. Surveyspot has tons of really short surveys most of which you only get an entry into a drawing. However they do have many paid surveys also. You can just go to their site everyday and answer surveys you don't have to wait for them to be emailed to you. They do some previewing of tv commercials and tv shows. I have done a couple tv shows which involved watching an hour long program (45 minutes without commercials) and answering some questions about it - with payment of $20 so that was nice.

Most pay a few dollars per survey completed so it is best to use several. You also need to be a regular email checker because if you don't respond to the survey fast enough they have met their quota.

If I have kids, I would have protection software for when they're younger, but once they reach the teen years, I'd take it off. Instead of sheltering them, I'd teach them common sense and to think for themselves. Teach them what's right and wrong.

You can earn a few dollars here and there bt you can't get rich. You can't get rich by getting paid an occassional $5

The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.

Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

Most of the time you will have to register with many different companies because the surveys aren't frequent enough for most. That depends on what you are wanting to make doing these. I have a lot of experience marketing small companies online (I have 3 companies). One of the best ways is to sign up at business directories and protals. These are basically listings of businesses (simliar to the phone book). The advantage is that these portals usually get a lot of traffic and they're ranked high on Google because of all the quality links they contain.

My favorite portal is called Directory Exclusive. I signed up a few weeks ago because they're giving a away a free business card holder when a person enter's their company info. I received it in the mail 3 days ago =)

Last year or so I have got $50 Staples gift card %26amp; $50 Kohl's gift card. I would rack up tons more but I prefer just to buy direct from vendor sites.

I've checked out a number of them and it seems almost impossible to make any money (I don't buy the claims about hundreds per month), and most of them want to enter you in a sweepstake instead. I'm concerned about putting out personal info. on that many sites in hopes of getting a cheque. I wonder if my computer will crash from what they might send me. I suspect that most of these sites are collecting more info. on us than on our responses to surveys. What say ye, oh wise ones who like to share your thoughts?

Like, the above posters said, most of them are scams. However, the ones that are not complete scams are still generally not worth your while. Some of them give you "money" good towards purchases from their sponsors. For example, completing a survey may get your "$2 off your next purchase of $50 or more from SPONSOR NAME HERE". So not only are you filling out surveys you are also helping them collect ad revenue.

I have found one or two sites that do pay real money for completing surveys. The way it works is you get anywhere from one to four surveys a day. When you complete those surveys you get money in your account and when the account has over $10 in it they will give you a check. The catch is that surveys are only worth about 15 cents, so at best you're making about 45 cents a day.

To sum it up, 99% are scams and the legitimate 1% don't pay very much.

If you try a survey site always enter a weird letter for your middle initial. That way if they are in business just to get names to sell for spam you can spot the spam by it having that middle initial. You will be surprised at where your name can end up if you have a bad survey site.

There are several sites. Do not give anyone your SSN there are lots of sites out there that are legit and they do not need this info from you. Nor do you have to pay to join. I am a member of several. The one I have had the most luck with is Lightspeed. They do not pay you cash you get points which can be converted into cash via pay pal. However, they send me the most surveys. And already twice now I have been asked to participate in a more extensive survey in which I was sent a palm pilot in the mail and asked to record certain daily activities. The ones I have completed offered a $50 incentive and that was in the form of a check in addition to the points I received for completing the initial survey. I have also done survey savy which has a great referral program if you know people who will join you get money for surveys they complete. I have also tried American Consumer Opinion. They pay by check in mail for all surveys, but I have not been able to complete many of their surveys. I did a lot of research before joining these three. You also need to be a regular email checker because if you don't respond to the survey fast enough they have met their quota. I am pleased with these sites and looking to join some new ones.

In fact you're unlikely to earn more than $5 per survey and will usually earn in the region of $100-$200 a month.

Companies like GlobalTestMarket, IPSOS, Valued Opinions and MySurvey.com are very active and pay you a reasonable rate for your opinion. Othes like Pinecone and ACOP pay well but have a policy of only inviting you to one survey every month/6 weeks to ensure a good cross section of participants.

If you want to make regular money, you can't just sign up with a couple of panels. Visit one of the free online directories like http://www.whichsurveys.com and work through the list for your country, signing up for as many as you can.

Most of the ones that promise to pay you money are primarily interested in collecting your data. many require you to fill out forms with a lot of information and also to participate in promotions. Some of them require that you actually buy products or services in order to qualify.

There are survey sites that are legitimate, such as Harris Poll and Lightspeed, but they only pay in points that you can redeem for prizes. Lightspeed points can be redeemed for cash, but the amounts are small.

Reply:There are several survey sites that I use, your not going to get rich doing them though. Do not give anyone your SSN there are lots of sites out there that are legit and they do not need this info from you. Nor do you have to pay to join. The one I have had the most luck with is Lightspeed. They do not pay you cash you get points which can be converted into cash via pay pal. However, they send me the most surveys. And already twice now I have been asked to participate in a more extensive survey in which I was sent a palm pilot in the mail and asked to record certain daily activities. The ones I have completed offered a $50 incentive and that was in the form of a check in addition to the points I received for completing the initial survey. I have also done survey savy which has a great referral program if you know people who will join you get money for surveys they complete. I have also tried American Consumer Opinion. They pay by check in mail for all surveys, but I have not been able to complete many of their surveys. Pinecone is also great. You have to have an invitation to join though. They send one or two surveys a month. They are great though cause you will have a few days or a week to answer the survey if you don't check your email religiously. Then they send a check in the mail pronto.

I've stumbled upon a few websites that claim to "pay" you to complete online consumer surveys. Some of them ask for money up front before giving away details. Has anyone tried this and are they a rip off ?

I am actually a member of a couple of survey sites that are legit, and I have been paid by them. Not tons of money but I've made as much as $15.00 for one survey. There are a bunch that are not. All of the ones that are not legit will ask for money up front, do not sign up for those. Then there are some that only pay you if you complete offers. The offers almost always cost you money, like they want you to join Netflix or something like that. They are by invite only or by clicking on their rare advertising banners. There are forums on the web that specialise in telling people where their banners can be found.

It may take you a day or two to find an active banner of theirs but the rewards are worthwhile.

You don't. If you want a real job you will have to actually go to the place of employment and work there.

Very few real companies are going to hire a stranger to do work for them with no training or supervision. Most people who work from home either work for themselves, or have worked for a company for many years, and then had a personal situation arise that caused them to need to work from home. If they were trusted long-term employees, and if their jobs could be done remotely, the companies made accommodations.

If you want to earn money, you will have to get a real job. You can't earn a living answering surveys (which really just collect info on you!) on the Internet. No company is going to pay good money for that when they can simply provide a survey link on their receipts and get ACTUAL CUSTOMERS to tell them what they thought of their services or products (for free!).

Legitimate companies are not going to pay to ship materials to you, let you fold them stuff them or address them, and then pay for you to ship them back to them. How would that possibly make financial sense?

Reply:Something that always really annoys me is how people brand paid online surveys as scams. Ive been a member of many paid surveys companies for many years and have earnt my fair share of money and paypal aswell as online gift certificates for lots of online stores.

It seems that people really arnt paying attention to what they sign upto.

Many survey companies take a certain time period before you are paid. Sometimes its days or even weeks. So as soon as a few hours is up they say oh i havent been paid for doing that survey.

If people continue to pick survey companies that have dodgey names like survey monkey or 30 dollar days then its their own fault. Try using the ones with legitimate names, do your homework on the paid survey company before you join.

They've got 6 pages just for UK sites and several more on international survey companies. I've never found a site on there that hasn't sent me survey invitations and payment and most of those on the first page in particular send me invitations every week.

I have 2 favorites that I use regularly. The 1st site the payout is not bad. They keep a running total of your earnings for an entire month and they process it at the end of the month, you get a check the following month [mine have always come around the 10th] and I've been using it for a few months now and the checks come like clockwork. There is a minimum of $5 payout so you don't have to make that much to get a check. There is a large variety of offers/surveys to do that suit your needs and it certainly does add up quick. It has come in handy for me.

There are ups and downs to the other site I use. The payout is much higher $40 to receive a check but there is also the option of getting an Amazon gift card or 10,000 banner impressions for your website [if you have one]. The upside is there is much more ways to make extra cash on this site, i.e. games, surveys, percentages for shopping, and they pay you around $.03 to click on their spam emails.

Since you are only 14, most survey companies require members to be at least 18. However there are some that just for kids and teens. Reply:I can't say "all", because I simply don't know about "all", but a vast majority of these websites make it near impossible for you to make the money or get the free item. These sites are interested in 1 thing only - your identity. Some collect the email addresses and sell them to spammers or others, while some are actually going to try to get more personal information from you in order to rip you off in another way.

I am on disability, so believe me when I say I understand the desire for a free product or free cash. Most people would jump at the chance. A lot of people also still remember an old adage - "nothing is free". In this case, it could end up costing you more than just a lot of time.

Just wondering what are some good survey sites that ACTUALLY pay i have tryed some like greenfield any Mysurvey and surveysavvy but i dont like those they send me to liitle invitations or none. Survey sites that pay?
Whatever age you are, you'll only ever receive a few surveys from any one company which is why the key to a regular income is signing up to a large number of companies. The best way to do this is to work through one of the many free online survey directories but in your case you are somewhat restricted by your age.

Luckily though there are a few companies that accept members under 18 and some like Choozz that are specifically aimed at teens and/or children. Take a look at http://www.whichsurveys.com/usteensurvey... which lists panels looking for younger members.

It's also worth noting that all panels sometimes require the opinion of children and teens but will address the surveys to the parent so see if you can persuade your mom to sign up and pass the surveys to you. My 11 year old son gets quite a few surveys this way.

You can also do product evaluations. Don't know how much they pay for them (doing my first one soon). I am a member of alot of survey sites and this is the only one that will pay money quickly after completing a survey. I just realized that you are not over 18. I am not sure if you can join or not. Have you checked out Teeneyes? You won't get alot of survey invites (maybe 1 a month). They credit you with so many points then when you reach 1000 points, they send a $10 check. The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.

Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

Reply:I have found several legitimate work at home sites so far, and one of them made me $494+ in October, $700+ in November, and $838.57 in December. They are free to join.

I made some nice money at first, but once I found out these sites were legitimate, I started adding referrals and the money got a lot better. However, a lot of the surveys you only get an entry into sweepstakes. They do have some they pay for though. Would be cool to win the sweepstakes though.

I am a member of several sites. The one I have had the most luck with is Lightspeed. They do not pay you cash you get points which can be converted into cash via pay pal. However, they send me the most surveys. And already twice now I have been asked to participate in a more extensive survey in which I was sent a palm pilot in the mail and asked to record certain daily activities. The ones I have completed offered a $50 incentive and that was in the form of a check in addition to the points I received for completing the initial survey. I have also done survey savy which has a great referral program if you know people who will join you get money for surveys they complete. I have also tried American Consumer Opinion. They pay by check in mail for all surveys, but I have not been able to complete many of their surveys. Pinecone is also great. You have to have an invitation to join though. They send one or two surveys a month. They are great though cause you will have a few days or a week to answer the survey if you don't check your email religiously. Then they send a check in the mail pronto.

So you must have found by now that most paid survey sites are a scam!

It doesn't take long to discover that most work at home online schemes or paid survey sites are just trying to rip you off or steal your personal information.

Most sites aren't regulated and have shady privacy policies that allow them to sell your information or at the very least, spam your inbox day and night.

I've been completing surveys online for years now and I'll have to admit it was difficult finding good survey sites that would actually pay.

Seems like even if they're legitimate they don't let you take enough surveys to make it worth your while.

I mean, if you only get $10.00 for every 1000 points you earn doing surveys, that's a penny a survey. Then they only let you take 2 or 3 a day, if your lucky. What a waste of time.

Yes but like you said, only $10 for every 1,000 points. I've never won one of those contests they claim you're automatically entered in just for logging in or completing the survey.

There are free survey sites that do pay out without all the crud in your inbox. You have to choose wisely though, and read the fine print. I've been through alot of survey programs, but the two I'm happy with and still have accounts with are www.surveyspot.com (you have to have the www.) and globaltestmarket.com

surveyspot has paid me around $200 in the past year, each survey ranging from $3 to $7. And they have good customer service - they respond to your emails quite quickly. The only downfall is that if you start a survey but don't complete it, you don't even get a partial reward, but you get to "enter the monthly drawing" woohoo....

Global test market uses a points system, each point being worth 5 cents and the completed surveys range from 25 - 200 points. However, unlike surveyspot, if you don't complete a survey they will still give you 5 points just for trying. So even if you never complete a survey, you can still earn money for your time. The only downfall at this site is that you have to earn 1000 points in order to request payment.

And the only other downfall of both sites is that some of the surveys can be really long and boring, requiring alot of reading.

i found it recently after doing research and seperating the scammers from the legit sites.

They actually even have TV commerials. They update your account in realtime, you just have to take surveys. They're quick and they tell you before hand how much each one is worth.

They also have a forum so you can definately talk to other members and on top of that if you recruit others you get money for their efforts. Sweet deal right? :)
